He often leaves his e-mail account open and I could read it if I wanted to. But why would I?

My husband's left his email window open before, and I could easily find out his password because he has them written down somewhere. I haven't ever gone and snooped through his email though, and I can't say I have any strong desire to.
I wouldn't do anything I wouldn't like him doing to me I guess.
I don't think it's rude to read your husband's email, although it's garaunteed people here will say that. If you're worried about finding something, it could ease your mind. Don't be paranoid though! If you think he's keeping secrets, and he is, then he's damaging the relationship and you deserve to know about it. You should be able to both look at eachother's emails and it wouldn't be invasion of privacy. You aren't the government spying on him, you're supposed to be married. If he wouldn't be comfortable with you reading his email try to start up a talk about being more open with eachother.

I had my husbands password to his e-mail account cause he was in Iraq for 15 months. That is the only way I knew day to day if he was alright. If I sent him an e-mail and I saw that he had read it, that meant he was alright. He didn't mind at all.

I do know his password. But honestly I do not look at his email because there is no reason for me not to trust him.

My husband and I each have the passwords to the others accounts... Yet I don't feel the need to look in his accounts except to clear out bulk mail when he gets too busy to clear it and the excess begins bouncing mail back to senders....

I do have his password and I do not read his e-mail. I would never disrespect him or his privacy in this way. I trust him. I'm also not that nosy. It is an invasion of privacy to read someone else's e-mail.

I do know his password and I do read his email. When we got married, he lost his rights to chat, email or anythingelse with any other women.

yeah i would..but i'de ask his permission n only if i hv a valid reason to do so..My hubby n i know each other's passwords n it doesn't bother us one bit. It helps when either one of us is away frm the PC n the other one can check his/her emails regularly.

I have his password, but I lack the desire to read them. I have no reason to, he's pretty honest and tells me everything anyway.
