I don't know, but I love this question!! I used to think Canada was the friendliest nation, until I started posting questions on Yahoo answers. And whenever I'd ask a question like "What do others think of Americans" etc. kind of questions, and I'd get the most hateful answers from people claiming to be from Canada. So, now I have my doubts about them--certainly not friendly to Americans, anyway.

Would you want others to judge your country based Yahoo Answers. I've just been reading some questions from some racist black panther claiming to be American...

I personally don't think that we can lump a nation into this question. I think that we should judge a man or woman by their character, not their country.

Every country has some **** hole that'll muck it up for the rest. (Hence makingitup's changed feelings on Canadians.)

The friendliest ppl I've ever met have been from northern India. Always open-hearted, always smiling, even when they're mad...

Then you get on the phone with a New Delhi techie from Compaq, and ugh...

The cluster of states in central Europe: Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark. That's probably where friendliness is most concentrated on Earth.

Australia, but I have to admit, in the big cities you could be lying dead and no one will stop to see if you are ok. Definitely the residential and country areas of Australia. Although some big cities are friendly.

Gotta be New Zealand. They treat everyone like a friend they've just been waiting to meet.

i dont know if any nation is friendly
all nations look for the benefit of their own nation
i would say that in this era, England is the kindest, they give alot of charity, releif, and try to move towards peace. I beleive Israel, Iran, and Syria are the most hostile countries.
