The day before my water broke I really felt like a had been riding a huge horse...I know that might sound strange....but i put it off to just sleeping wrong, or just part of being pregnant...It was 2 weeks before my due date....I did not consider it a sign of my labor beginning....but it lasted for about 16 to 18 hours....It was not really painful....It was just a very weird feeling......that night my water broke when i stood up to go to the restroom......I then realized that it was hips and body getting ready for the delivery....GOOD LUCK!!! hope this helps

I was started with my first, as well. I wasn't sure what to expect with my second. But I had a doctor appointment scheduled days before my due date. I started feeling what I thought were contractions, but I wasn't positive. I never had them naturally with my 1st. Anyway, I just felt kind of funny. My bellly would go really tight and get really hard to the touch. I went into my appointment, my doctor told me I was in labor for sure, but not quite ready to go to the hospital. She told me to go have a good lunch and then just relax. When the contractions got to a point where they took my breath away, I should go in. I live an hour form the hospital, so when they barely started getting uncomfortable, I went in. By the time I got there, they were pretty intense. I delivered less than 4 hours later.

Aside from the usual symptoms, you might just feel funny and not really be able to explain it. Obviously those you stated, but another could be your hips hurt or feel like they are expanding and also tenderness in the area down below as you might be dilating and softening. If all else fails, go to the hospital anyway. Some women feel nothing at all until that baby is on it's way out.

Best of luck to you and your little one!!!

Your back hurts. I had a very strong craving for ice the day before deliver. You go to the bathroom alot. You might not have any symptoms but the labor. Good luck.

You might pass the mucus plug, which is whitish mixed with a little pink blood, very thick discharge.
You'll have contractions that get increasingly worse.. Diarrhea is very common also.
Water breaking is a 100% sure sign you're in labor

when i went into labor, i wasn't even aware of it at first, it was just extremely sharp back pains (which i had with the entire pregancy, so just thought it was an everyday thing).

you may feel sick, tired, moody, have contractions, feel the baby pushing down or like he has droped into your pelvis more...
