yes, it happens. but only when weaker minded people allow the other to intrude on your private thoughts. the scanner is someone who is highly focused and concentrates on your behaviour and mindset to give their readings.

There are people that have the ability to read others minds. It is called telepathy. Those that have telepathic ability can pick up on surface thoughts of others. The surface thoughts are actually things the person is about to say or just think "loudly". Many times these thoughts are actually sent to the telepath unconsciously by the other person. I have not encountered anyone that can read your mind without permission. Any sending and receiving is usually done voluntarily. Many families have a telepathic bond and not realize it. Ever thought of your mom and next thing you know she calls you. Ever have the exact same idea or thought as someone. As soon as you say it out loud they say they were just thinking that. That is all telepathy.

YES! There was a great movie made about them in the 80s check the link below out. But beyond this movie I think scanners are HOKE!

You have confused the movie with reality.
Most people can only read emotions or see the futrure. their used to bena beliefe that you can hitch your mind with another being and ride with its brain but that was called shape changeing.

I think it's possible.
Of course, the only person I've ever known who claimed to be able to do it believed he was immortal and jumped off a bridge to prove it. (Somehow he lived.)
That aside...if I could do it, you know, I don't think I'd tell anyone about it.
