I am 22 yrs. old and wasn't the best h.s. student. I need to know the necessary steps and protocol to get into a junior college.

Just call the collage that you are interested in. They will put you in touch with a student adviser. They will walk you threw it. It is much easier than you think.

I suggest bushing up your writing, math and reading before entering college. Some colleges make you take entence exams what require those subjects. Also, look into aid for paying for your courses. Most states offer state aid to pay for books and courses.

all u have to have is a GED for a junior college just go sign up

all you have to do is bring all your credentials to school where you want to study and from there there are sreps on how to go on in enrollment
