i was playing rune scape and left the computer then when i got back it signed me out like it always does and when i signed back in it put me in a diffrent place and all i had in my bag was a knife and wood when i had lots of stuff in there before but other stuff like my friends list and spells stayed the same.how do i get my stuff back and fix all of this?

I don't think you were hacked. I think you probably got a random event like a genie or a mysterious old man and were not there to talk to it. If you don't talk to them some random events will kill you but others will teleport you to very random places and they wont teleport your items so your items would have been wherever you were before you were teleported for exactly one minute before either someone picked them up or they were simply lost forever.
Random events were added to prevent macroing and afk training and under no circumstances will Jagex ever refund any items even if you lost incredibly rare things like party hats or items that will never be added to the game again. You will have to get all your items back on your own.
That is why, if you have anything valuable on, you should log out on your own and not leave your account doing something without you there.
