the sex of the baby will not change, however, if the doctors misread the scan, or aren't perfectly sure if it is a boy or girl, then they could change their mind on if it is a boy or girl. Unfortunately, the only sure fire way to know if it is a boy or girl is birth. Congrats in either case.

At the point of conception, it is either a boy or a girl. Because the doctor told you it's a girl and now changes his mind to saying its a boy did not change the sex at the point of conception. Perhaps from the sonagram the doctor thought it was a girl, but now is saying it's a boy. Don't be alarmed. This happens. When the baby is born, what you hold is what the baby was at the time of conception.

No babies do not change sexes. EVERY baby starts out as a girl (which is why boys have nipples.) It's just a matter of whether or not there is what doctor's call a "Testosterone Surge." Should this occur then the baby develops into a boy. Let me correct myself, the default is for girl, it just depends if the baby will go on to form girl parts or if the "testosterone surge" will trigger the development of boy genitalia.

No a fetus cannot change sexes. The doctors were or are mistaken. They are only human and can make mistakes sometimes. Especially with stuff like this

oh please! A baby can't change it's sex at any time of it's development. Get real! That embryo knows what it's be within the first 3 days. Many doctors get it wrong. Blood tests, embryonic fluid tests, and ultrasounds are used to determine the sex. But these tests aren't 100% guarantee. Babies move contantly so seeing it on an ultrasound can be difficult. Don't worry about what sex it is, just be happy it's healthy.

No way in hell is that possible. If they dont know now its because the first time they didnt see something that maybe they see now. The baby could have been in a position where it's hard to see the genitals. When I did my 4D ultrasound they said that when it's a girl they have a patient come back a few weeks later to confirm..just because something could have been hiding. Usually if its a boy then its more accurate cuz it's right there in your face (unless his back is turned)

no the sex of your baby will not change, just possibly the first sonogram the baby may have been laying different than this time and they can see a little more in the newest one.
