Yes, vitamins can make a difference. Of course, each individual is different and their body processes foods and supplements at different rates. So, it is hard to predict just how much taking vitamins will help as compared to eating a healthy and well-balanced diet. But, if you can determine that your body is deficient in a certain vitamin, then taking that particular supplement can truly help.
For instance, I am allergic to citrus and I need extra vitamin C.

I recommend Linus Pauling's book:" How to live longer and feel better". Since the book was published 20 years ago it may be only available in paperback. It deals with vitamins and explains their importance.
Dr. Linus Pauling was a two time Nobel price winner and was awarded during his lifetime 40+ honorary degrees.

If you're not getting enough vitamins in your daily diet, they can be helpful. Just make sure you read the labels and only get what vitamins and how much of them you need.
