Gay in that context means Homosexual.... which is a huge insult to anyone who has a sense of decency.

Just a general put down as in icky-gay. Anything kids don't like is "gay". Really it means nothing. If I get tired of hearing the kids in my class say it I tell them about my brother who is gay and married to a lawyer in Dallas and drives a Mercedes. If they don't believe me I show them their picture.

They mean it looks like something an effeminate or gay person would like. They equate certain clothes, or other items with something somebody gay would like so they say, "That is SO gay." - so stupid because inanimate objects can't be "gay."

It means stupid, dumb. I remember in my school days, kids would use that word. One time a student asked a teacher why she dressed up all the time and told her it was so gay, and she was not too happy with that remark.

Gay is my word. I use it to insult people. When me && my friends use it, we mean like stupid or immature... very gay means like that is the stupidest thing ever. But sometimes we DO mean the homosexual gay.... like my friend Joby, he acts immature and stupid so we call him gay, meaning he is a homo. I am 14, I should know.

Well, they might say that today, but tomorrow it will be something else. The whole object of the language kids use today is not to describe things with any degree of accuracy or imagination, but to use terminology that will baffle anyone outside of their 'in' group. So kids in one city might say a tv looks gay, but somewhere else they'll say it looks raunchy.

And that is VERY rude. Gay should NOT be a synonym for dumb. Gay people aren't dumb. Happy people aren't dumb.

It used to mean "happy", but then the homosexual community took over the word to describe their lifestyle so they could have a "pleasant" sounding word that makes their unconventional sexual practices sound more acceptably. So i guess that in your described context, it means that the tv is irregular in appearance.
