A agree. I think 9-11 was just a wake up call that we aren't perfect. But there is no reason to go nuts about it.

Perhaps it taught us that we were too trusting. The damage could never have been done if we'd been like, say, Syria when it comes to immigrants.
I take it that isn't the lesson you had in mind?

It appears you didn't' learn any lessons either. Cause we kicked your sand Jockey asses all over the desert. And we still doing it.

I got one for you....Why haven't you tried anything since?....I'll even give you the answer. Cause you know what you will get. We have made it too costly for you to do that crap anymore. You are all cowards.

I think 9/11 taught us to get our heads out of the ground and unite. But people did die, and it's sad that it took people dying to make that happen.

What's the lesson? We are still the same. How are we supposed to change to please the terrorists? Hide in fear and give in to whatever they ask? I am not a stupid person. These, too, are just questions.

That our enemies will attack us by any means they can. It was a signal to take the gloves off and get dirty.

it taught us that our strength is only as strong as our weakest link. we left all our buildings unprotected. we only protected our civilians martially. we only had a military to fight laws. they were not instituted to protect against terrorist events, or at least not yet. it taught us that we were too full of ourselves to notice the outside world growing. not only the world, but also the dangers
