As long as you two are happy that's all that really matters. As far as having a baby, no she is not too old to have a baby. I have a friend who had a baby at almost 41, and many years ago a had a neighbor who had 2 grown children (in their early 20's) and she didn't think she could get pregnant but viola she did and she was almost 50!

Just make sure she talks to her OB/GYN, and does everything the doc tells her to for her health as well as the baby.

And again, if you two are happy you shouldn't let the age gap bother you. If other people don't like it, that's their problem. Heck when I was 18 (and this was a billion years ago) I was dating a guy who looked 25 but was 36! How's that for an age gap?

Best of luck to you both!

Age is not a problem nowadays and I think women should be older than a man. The main point is that you have the same interests, goals, and respect each other. I wouldn't be surprised if it started bothering her at some point though but then again, maybe it won't. Women are having babies in their 40's so as long as she is healthy and gets a good checkup by a doctor to rule out any potential problems, I think you will be okay.

I am a 48 year young female, and i think that it is great, to me there is a point were your ages DO NOT make a difference.I don't think it is to late, if she in very good health, and the two of you are very very sure of the commitment to each other and for a child. And by the way stop saying that she looks good for that age, how are we supposed to look?If you are mature old enough, and she is mature young enough, and love each other enough, then have a child.but remember the time you have now, will become more quality than quantity so that both of your time can be spent with and sharing the baby.

The age gap is okay. Age is just a number as long as you to are okay with.
As long as treat you right, you secure with the age gap then nothing should really bother you about it.
Alot of guys like older women, simply because there are more stable in life. I don't think she is to old to give birth, now a days a lot of people are given birth at older age. Look at hollywood.

i think of it rather is great. in case you like one yet another and you're properly matched, you additionally could make it paintings at any age. No, 39 isn't too previous for a infant. My buddy basically gave beginning elderly 40 to an exceedingly healthy female newborn, and it replaced into an hassle-free transport. My cousin had her first infant at 40 two. a female I paintings with is on maternity circulate away along with her first infant elderly 40 3. It occurs for all time. in case you may get pregnant clearly, it rather is an indication she's in stable well-being, and he or she'll probable stay an prolonged life.

Who cares about the age gap, if it doesn't bother either one of you and you love each other then it doesn't matter. And shes not to old to have a baby, shoot if a 65 year old can do it I'm sure a 39 year old can too. Good Luck

She will likely be 40 by the time she gives birth and there are more chances of birth defects. If the two of you are happy, don't let the age diff. bother you. But you also have to remember, they may be a time when she doesn't look good for her age, and if you "sign-up" now, you have to remember you must love her always--regardless of the changes her body goes through.

If you can do that - then go for it. But...don't have a baby out of wedlock....the baby deserves more.

Not to old but let me tell ya. It gets more difficult each year beyond 40 physically for most women. Most Ob's will normally recommend an AMNIO to check for possible problems including downs syndrome. Then from experience you want to hang with the older guys in the shop talking fishing or cars and she may need afternoon naps when she hits menopause and your raring to go. But love is love.

just my 2 1/2 cents worth.

I think it is fine.
There is really not that much difference in the minds of 27 and 39 year olds.
As you get older, the difference in your bodies will become apparent, but for now it should not matter.
When you are 47 and she is 59 then you might have some problems.

I don't think it's anyones business to even comment. There are only 2 people who should have any feelings about this at all .. and that's you and her.

To answer you last question. 39 is pushing it to have kids but I know ladies who have had very healthy babies up to 43 .. and I'm sure there are more that were even more mature.
