I think that THIS Saturday is the 16th as it comes after THIS week... NEXT saturday comes at the end of NEXT week, so is the 23rd. Are you with me?

Next Saturday means just that - it's the next Saturday which in this case would be the 16th. The 23rd would be the FOLLOWING Saturday.

The next Saturday coming up is the the 16th. We haven't lived that date....We could also express it as this Saturday will be the 15th because it is still included in this week. The last day of the week is Saturday.

The second Saturday from now will be the 23rd...or you could say the following Saturday is the 23rd.

I think I understand how that can be confusing at times to people.

No, the next Saturday is the one that comes next (16th). After the 16th, you can refer to it (the 16th) as this past Saturday and the 23rd as this coming Sat.

No, dude, I am not. This coming Saturday is indeed the 16, followed by of course, the 23rd. This is a no brainer!

'This' IS 'next'! 'Next' IS 'this'!
The 'following' Saturday is the 23rd.
'A week from Saturday' is the 23rd
or merely 'Saturday, the 23rd'!
Next (this) Saturday is the 16th
Are YOU with ME?

You just said that you disagree with Beth, and then repeated the exact thing she just said. You also called her a "dude." Way to read.
