If kids are involved, then I would make it clear to him that he has to get clean. You can't risk your kids well being over drugs. Wait on him if he's willing to save his family.

If there are no kids, leave him. There are plenty of men out there who are responsible.

If you love your husband, there is a great site out there where you can get some interesting toys to keep you satisfied until your conjugal visits. If he was doing meth, I would leave his butt asap. If he was selling meth, and for a 2 1/2 year sentence seems a little harsh for a first offense unless he had a substantial amount. Either way, I believe that if you have or want children, they should not be anywhere around that. You don't want to end up with a sick child.

I suppose it would depend on many factors, but I would first sit down with a therapist (one may be made available to you on a sliding payment scale) to help sort things out. Your husband will not be the same man you know now when he is released from prison. Even though the time is only 2 1/2 years. Life will change drastically. If you do stay by his side, you will need to be strong enough to work through the adjustments when he returns. My prayers . . .

My boyfriend went to prison for 2 1/2 years. He has been out for over a year, and he has totally changed his life around. He is completely sober, has a good job, goes to church, has a car bought and paid for, all that. You marry someone for better and for worse. Don't automatically assume that because he screwed up, he's always going to be a screw up. Everyone deserves a second chance, and no one deserves to be left cold alone without at least some sort of effort in sticking by him.

I'm sorry if my husband went to prison no matter what the crime,It would be over for us.I don't want to be with someone I have to worry about getting in trouble, and if they are making selling or doing meth,I would not want to be anywhere around them.I would also be worried that while in prison they would be with men, willing or not willing and I would not want to take the chance of getting aids,Prison have high aids rates. It has nothing to do with how much I love him,If he loved me and our family he wouldn't do things that would land his butt in jail.

Well it depends on his character. If I KNEW that he was sorry for the life he had lead and was adamant about changing around once he got out then more than likely I would ride the storm out with him but if he was a jerk... I'd wait til his butt was good and locked up and leave his behind! I dont know it depends....We cant tell you what to do. Women dont listen anyway until we are ran deep down into the dirt and by then the Man has taken so much from that he doesnt care if you leave. Good luck

Make sure that I am not trapped by the drug that is now going to take his freedom. Ask myself why would I marry someone who obviously deals with such a disgusting, addictive, and mentally destructive drug! Pray that I have family to lean on,preferable one's that are not mixed up with the same problem. Sit down and make some better goals for to better my future.

File for divorce and be glad he was out of my life.... I don't need the heartache, headaches and criminal element that meth trafficing and/or use would bring to my life..... And neither do you....
