They (Assyrians and Armenians) are being forced out of their homes, murdered, raped, and sent packing simply because they are Christians. Assyrians are the indigenous people of Iraq and they are the one's being persecuted, having their ancient churches bombed. What do you think?

PANDA BEAR--I do not know what has riled you up? I am an Iraqi Christian, my family IS from Iraq, I know what is going on in Iraq. Relatives call, describing the horrors they have to face, being persecuted, forced to wear the hijab in public to conceal the fact that they are Christian. Bombing and kidnappings of churches and relatives. Don't you find it ironic how Assyrians are the indiginous people of Iraq, and yet they are the minority. Do you know that 700,000 innocent Assyrians were killed during the years of 1914-1918 by the Ottoman Turks? That was JUST a period of 4 years. Assyrians are being persecuted for their religion, I KNOW I'M ASSYRIAN--IT IS MY HERITAGE. I can't have people denouncing the fact that my people are not being persecuted. And I know that not all certain groups of people are one way. I admire Muslims, and many are my friends. The topic about the Egy Copts was just an example. I know that Egyptians are friendly individuals, as there are in every nationality.

I do feel sorry for them, I feel sorry for all the innocent civilians who have been raped, killed, bombed, maimed in this awful war. People don't realize that there are Christians in Palestine and Lebanon too who are caught in the middle of all these struggles.

I feel sorry for ALL innocent people of Iraq--regardless of their religious denomination.

And if I remember correctly, once upon a time the Christians rampaged the Muslims in the Middle East, persecuting them and burning their mosques. Either way it is wrong.

hi.. im the one who said in one of ur previous questions that egyptians are open minded and then u added details saying that egyptians kill copts so that cant be true..
im a muslim, and i went to a catholic school.. where christians were abt 1/3 or even more.. they were all my friends.. my mother's best friend is a christian, and so is my brother's..
i have lots of christian friends, none is my best friend, but its not planned or anything :)
we treat christians just like muslims. or let me re-phrase: u dont take into account whether this is a muslim or a chirstian.. coz THAT is what our religion says.. we should treat all ppl equally..
i agree that maybe some wont see it that way.. but thats THEIR problem.. and, if for example one black is a thief doesnt mean all blacks r, onr german is a nazi, doenst mean all germans r, and thats exactly the case here..
have a good day! and i hope i convinced u a bit

What the hell are you on about? All these lies coming out your ***? Even the christian iraqis are against the american occupation of iraq. Christians like other minoritys have always lived in peace under muslim rule. Only foreign bigots like you who dont even know the situation speak on behalf of them. Its only when thier countries mosques are being bombed and missionarys acting as if they are there to help are pouring in with thier corrupt beliefs is when they get real angry, and even then churches etc rarely attacked. And to the moron who was yapping on about kosovan muslims killing christians, that is exactly what a christian extremist would say. It was actually kosovan muslims (kosovo being a muslim state before they were butchered lowering thier population especially with serb settlements) who were ethnically cleansed and murdered, no elderly/children/unarmed man or woman was spared, and all this was encouraged especially by the serb churches (which in due time will pay for thier crimes Insha'ALLAH). The truth cannot be erased and the crimes of the disbelievers will be repayed Ameen.

I hate to say it, but your ancestors carried away the sinful Jews to Babylon in 586 BC and you are receiving payback from US/Israel Zionist lobby. The fact that you are Christian matters very little as the same is destroying Serbian Orthodox monasteries in Kosovo. The difference is that the West, via the UN, provides funding to the Albanian terrorists. Pray for peace - because those who die as Christian martyrs are rewarded with Heaven NOT 72 Virgins as the Zionists want you to think.
