I prefer pills cuz I hate injections

Depends on the shot. Normally shots are given in the arms, for like flu shots, tetanus boosters, and immunization boosters in older children & adults. For infants - they get so many shots that they go in the arms & legs. Many at the same time. Depo shots, these are best given in the butt. No matter what - if you've got a choice, always pick your arm. It's easier to have a sore arm for a couple days, than a sore butt!

Doctors give shots in the butt for kids and in the arms for adults usually.

When I was a kid, I had a doctor that refused to give shots anywhere other than in the butt!

It depends on the medication being administered. The "butt" or gluteal muscles is usually the largest muscle in most people. But most of the time the deltoid muscle or upper arm is used. It really depends on the medication, the absorption rate, and the layer (fat, muscle) the medication must go in to.

Well my doctor always gives me an injection in the arm never had it anywhere else and i dont think i'd want to either. I'm not very into pulling down my pants i dont no about you...

arm.. I have never had a shot anywhere else but the arm. I have even had birth control shots in the arm.

but some med need to be released slowly to your body, so they pick a butt
