I cleaned at a resort in Florida, sometimes kids or pets would pee the bed. Vinegar and water is fine, or you can get one of those organic pet stain removers. A trick is to get the cleaner deep down is to steam it in by letting the cleaner soak in, place an old wash cloth on top, then a steam iron with tap water in it, Finish by using a wet dry vac to extract as much of the cleaner as possible. Sprinkling baking soda on the mattress also helps keep down odors before you put on the linen.
For kitty, it might have a urinary track infection, go to the vet or make sure it only has dry cat food. Don't give cats milk, or wet food with a fish content, they don't normally have that in the wild, their plumbing can't handle it. Of course they like clean liter boxes with 1 to 3 inches of litter. Try not to place the litter box next to the food. If you got too many cats, one litter box, get another. If kitty cakes still pees on your bed, before you get it to the vet, put a plastic shower liner on top of the bed, cats hate that.Of course take the shower liner off when you go to bed.

It may be almost impossible to do if the pee has soaked into the mattress and is inside. However, this site tells you how to remove pee stains and odor and you don't need to spend a lot of money - just baking soda, vinegar, dish washing liquid, and hydrogen peroxide. It is a dog care site so the information is for puppy urine, but urine is urine, and it will work for the pee stains on the mattress too. I'd make sure I dried the mattress thoroughly afterwards - i think I'd probably use a hair dryer.

Best of luck with it.

if its still wet put some bicarb-soda on it just sprinkle it over the wet area leave it to dry and vacuum it off. It has already dry then use a wet sponge or cloth and the put the bicarb-soda over the area again wait for it to dry and vacuum or brush it off.

yea, just use a blowtorch!!! but actually, i have used these enzyme based cleaners, they seemed to work all right, my sister in law bleaches her son's mattress when he wets the bed, just uses a spray on bleach cleaner and kind of rinses it with a wet dishtowel and lets it dry, she says it works really well.
