Well, thanks to the people who answered the question. Anyhoo, I didn't mean to offend or anger anyone. I really didn't know it was an old myth.

No generally if you wear earrings and any other piercing on your left you are gay. I have gay friends and this is how they wear their jewellery.

Left side for a female.
Right side for a male.

As if it really matters who is gay or not, each to their own. That's what I think anyway.

Jewelery worn on the right means you like to wear jewelry on the right. That's all. In some places in Europe, especially in the Slavic countries, wedding rings are worn on the right hand, unlike North America where they are worn on the left hand.
And the phrase should have been
you're gay. Your gay means a gay that you own. You're gay means you are gay.

No.. The only time it makes you gay is when you associate wearing jewellery on the right... Just like if you wear black your a goth.. Its a colour.. its a piece of jewellery..

Things have a meaning when YOU put a meaning on them!

If you honestly believed for 1 second that if a person has jewellery on the right they are gay.. you are a moron!

I don't think that matters anymore. Years ago, gay men wore earrings in the right ear. That used to be the only way you could tell the straight men from the homosexuals. Not the case in today's world.

This was the thing when I was in high school back in the 80's. If you got a double piercing in your own left ear, you were considered cool. If you got an extra piercing in your own right ear, you were gay. I still have two piercings in my left ear and one in the right.
