This has not happened to me, but I do know of seven different marriages which ended when one spouse announced they were gay/lesbian and were in love with someone of the same sex. It is really difficult when children are involved.

QUESTION?
Why do people try to answer a question like this with flippant answers? Why don't they just let it pass them by and allow the people who are sincere about it to answer the question?

My sister did. He was a horrible drunk throughout the marriage. We all thought he was gay but they stuck it out for seven years. She finally caught him with another man in their house and they broke up. Now he has quit drinking and she has reamarried. Everyone is happy!

It never happened to me, but it happened to my ex-boyfriend. His ex-wife left him for her girlfriend. She was dating this girl during the last two years of their marriage. It just devestated him... Only recently did he admit the truth to any of his friends or family. Poor guy.
