Okay I was gonna skip school tomorrow, and I was just wondering if I could call myself off or if they will still call my house and say you did not call your child off school.

You sure can. I didn't turn 18 until after my first year of university, so I never tried it myself. But if you show up with a signed note they'll let you off no matter who signed it. How would they know anyway? A good idea for until you turn 18 is to get friends to sign sick notes for you, since their signatures won't look like your name. Good luck skipping school.

Not to offend you, but if you are stupid. Then stay at home, I'm sure no one will even notice you missing anyway. Why occupy a seat, if you don't want to learn? You actually will get away with far less in school at eighteen. Legally the school can throw you out. Nothing your parents can do to save your butt on this one!

Yeah, what's more important than skipping school?
Sure leave/skip school, claim someone raped you, and get all kinds of attention and money from the victims crime fund.
If your such and adult why don't you just walk into the school's office and ask.

hmm graduated when i turned 17 so never tried that i supposed you could but it would be a pretty funny phone call and i think you wont get away with it but never know

You can write your own note as to why you were absent. Yes you can call yourself off .

They will still call your parents if you are in high school. If you are in college, they don't care. You want to blow you opportunity at an education then they let you.
