First of all to have my children be happpy and secure in their future; then of course there's me ,I'm alot more complicated: I like everyone else wants to be loved unconditionally, I want to be in a relationship that is comfortable, demanding but without certain constraints: I want to be loved totally for me! With or without my faults. I want to be sucessfull at least at most of my endeavors. I don't need national recognition or even the approval of the PTA, but most of all I need my own approval; if I could just get that through my head I guess I would be better off.

I think happiness is a very fleeting moment in our life. We are not aware at the moment of happiness, we only reminisce the past happy moments. A moment happiness is immediately crystallized as thought or memory. The "now moment" cannot be grasped by the mind because mind is anchored to the past.
We are born with innate longing for happiness. We keep on looking outside of our self for this joy in our lifetime but always the transient and limited object is available. It could be a person, an object , a situation or an idea.We could not be certain if we try to find out what, where or whom was the object that gave us the highest happiness, it was a memory.Happiness is always in the present moment. With the total dissolution of loneliness, happiness is.

For myself,I would have to say at this point in my life I'm happier than I've ever been.I've been in a couple abusive relationships,so I appreciate my husband,he's is kind and sweet, and has never been abusive in anyway shape or form. Not only do we love each other,we like each otherand enjoy spend time together. We don't need allot of people around to make us happy. Had I not experienced the other relationships,I probably would not be able to appreciate what I have now.I'm older, so I accept my looks and my body now.I realize I don't have to compare myself to other women, because I'm a unique individual, and there's no one else like me.I have a nice place to live, and we are comfortable enough to do some things we want. The bills get paid on time, and we never have to worry about not being able to get our house payments made.My husband has been at his job for 19yrs and is very much needed,so job security isn't an issue.I've had health problems all my life, but still had to work before,I don't have to now,I'm on disability, and even though my health problems are getting worse,I know I'm not as bad off as allot of people.I have a good relationship with my parents and my in-laws.My faith is stronger than ever. And I feel if I even thought about asking for more, it would be things I don't need, and that I would be selfish.I'm more patient and accepting of people that are negitive, and realize that all I can do is change myself, not others, and to not even try.I've learned that if I'm in a situation where I'm not happy,I don't have to stay,I'm free to leave.I follow the law,but also realize I don't have to put up with anything I don't want to.I've got free will.I have truly been blessed, and I could'nt ask for more.Great question. And I hope you are happy with you life also.

Too many questions! But, I would be happy if I had true wisdom. I wasn't happy being a truck driver for 12 years (away from my family). I was the happiest when I was flying airplanes in 1992 in Northern Minnesota at College. It's where I met my wife.

To be pefectly happy- hummm... I dont see where anyone could be totally happy, unless they were in heaven. I think many of us are looking for that eternal happiness that we cannot find until we are with our creator.
But to answer your question, I thikn I could see myself happiest with-
having all of my family getting along- past grievances forgiven and forgotten... money problems not existing... not rich, but enough to cover your basic needs ( food, clothing, adequate home, health care), everyone to be healthy, and friends living close by.
The happiest times in my life were times when we had little money, but our needs were met, we were younger, our kids small, and friends so close we gathered together and did simple things together that were just wonderful. It may not seem like much, but some weekends we would get the kids some kites, drinks and snacks, and take them all to the park- let them run and play, and we would all sit, talk, play cards, play with the kids, and eat dinner together. It was the closeness, the simpleness of it that was just wonderful. We would all go to the skating rink, the pool, cook out, yard sales, county fairs, etc. It was just good times.

to be perfectly happy, i would first and foremost, require an unlimited amount of money to keep me busy. i tend to get involved in many rather expensive projects that i start to challenge myself. i have a flair for design so i would like to design my own house from the ground up. also, i of course am looking for a wife to share my life with.
a situation where i was very unhappy with my life is when i discovered that college was out of the question for me a year ago due to financial concerns. i dont feel right when i dont have control over the direction my life is heading.
i would say i am happier now than ever though. i am currently taking control of my life and monetary concerns. i am now about to start a business with a high estimated profit return.

U know, i don't think u can ever be perfectly happy unless there was no such thing as being sad. U would have to have every thing in the world. perfect family, house, body, etc. even then u can't be PERFECTLY happy.

I would be completely happy when my children finish the University and obtain their Diplomas, everybody is working and they say studying but I just want to see the Diplomas. I would like to travel more than once a year.

I only need one thing. For the girl of my dreams to love me. That would keep me perfectly happy through anything. Too bad she already broke my heart. The Beatles said it well. AlI you need is love.
