Our president cheats to win elections, wages war against his enemies and his people, and refuses to truly stop terrorism because to stop middle eastern oil from being a necessity would destroy his own personal fortune, damn the people. Our vice president's former company triples in value because of the aforementioned war and gets caught lieing on national tv. Congress and the Senate sound like a monday night football game. When asked if they would pass an immigration bill that would shut down the borders their reply was "no we are going to focus on homeland security". Corporate America is out of control. The stock holders have no social conscience and would screw the people and claim that it is good for the economy that is not creating any jobs just profits for the status quo. meanwhile the middle class has all but disappeared due to inflation, high interest rates, and having to get a credit check just buy a burger from Mc Donald's. Is it time to repeat the work of George and the boys?

It's not the stockholder's who are out of control in corporate america it's the boards and executives in cahoots.

It's hard enough to get people to get off their butts to vote, your best chance for a revolution would be if the government confiscated everybody's remote. But people would probably just move their TV to within arms reach of the couch. :)

I think the days for those type of revolts are gone. I don't think that a return to the days of organized demonstrations , economic sanctions on gov't controlled businesses and outright civil disobedience are too far away depending on what happens this Nov. We took our kids with us then. This time we'll take them and the grands too. We are ready and not afraid.

Very good points. This is why i didn't vote for bush and this is also why i am not a republican. I am all for making money but not when it leaves other people feeling swindled. and the last time i checked republicans were all about business, yet clinton was a democrat... i find it odd that our economy had some of its best years under him and he wasn't all about making decitions that supported big business.
