you can meet someone online, but not have a online boyfriend. It's a virtual relationship. It's not real. Meet someone in person if you absolutely feel it's safe. Keep in mind that many people are much different online than in person.

I met my wife online when I was in the Army in Germany and she was here in Utah where we now live outside the military (I got out May 31st, 2005). We fight constantly, mainly for the obvious reasons of couples in situations like ours (not knowing each other more than regular relationships). It does seem to be though that the other main reason is that because her dad is 110% Republican (completely ignorant... all his news is conservative AM talk radio and/or Fox News and he always adds to his news stories... NEWS: "3 soldiers killed by an IED detonating in Iraq today" her dad: "13 soldiers killed by an IED detonating in Iraq today"). He's so full of sh1t it's pathetic. Well, we fight about that because she defends him even though she has no clue about politics and calls everyone she doesn't know anything about or just doesn't like for no apparent reason "fags" (and I don't mean cigarettes). I guess it's self explanatory for why we fight so much... common sense never beats ignorance. (SEE: Iraq connection to 9/11, "coincidences" and "signs" just before 9/11 that went ignored or pushed under the rug by the Bush administration, 2000 and 2004 election counts, etc.)

Anyways, back to the question, a boyfriend on here? I don't know, I've always felt dating is a complete waste of time and money so I guess it would be more economical than a conventional relationship. Marriage from on here though, that works... as long as both husband and wife are too hard-headed to do anything else once they are married other than fight, have kids, fight some more, than grow old and die fighting all the way to the grave. BUT, it's not really as bad as it sounds... making up after fights almost always makes for a better night--if ya know what I mean.

"is having a boyfriend thru internet" does NOT work.

Talking to someone online, and actually getting outside and meeting people, are two completely different things. Go out with your friends have a good time. You only get one life, don't waste it on the internet! It's your choice!

Depending on how old/young you are and what you are looking to get out of the relationship. Some people can handle that cause they arent looking for the close and personal up front relationships. Lots of people want more in a relationship. So it all depends on the person.
Unless you plan on meeting the person in person then its just going to be a virtual relationship and that means no contact. Which makes a relationship so much harder and they dont last and arent worth it.

It works and can turn into real relationship. The problem is if you are not sincere with yourself (if you don't know yourself well) you can become deceived by your imagination. Otherwise it is very good approach to another person because the start is secret and last up to you will. You can put the questions about anything you want and get answers. If you know yourself well it will be hard to to trick you.
