WWE off course.

back in the day I actually watched all of them...WWE, WCW and ECW...ECW was far and away my favorite...the athleticism was far higher (sorry, guys, it wasn't just weapons and blood, though there was a lot of that, and used better than WWE ever has), the promos were more honest and realistic, the women were hotter (though not necessarily by much, though I'll always love Francine, the Queen of Extreme)...2nd would have been WWE, perhaps from familarity, but I certainly preferred it overall, and last was WCW...while at some points they were actually better, particularly from a wrestling standpoint, near the end they got increasingly ridiculous (once NWO got out of hand, I started losing interest...and when they actually gave David Arquette the belt, that was pretty much the last straw...letting him wrestle was one thing, but give me a break)...now, ECW is like watching an extra hour of Raw (not necessarily a bad thing, but it's still not the same)...TNA at its best is more like WCW...when you've got a good match there, the action can be outstanding

Hmm, call me weird, but.....

I actually preferred the old-school WCW. The *Pre-Bischoff* WCW, ok? Why?

--For the most part, the wrestlers looked like *real people* and not some overhyped action figure, at least early on. You had your Iron Mike Sharpes, and yeah, they were only mid-carders, but they didn't look like the kinds of people who had a ton of makeup *airbrushed* on them and who had to read a *cue-card* or a *teleprompter* to cut a promo....

And, unlike WW*, you didn't have the Monopoly of Muscle. YOu didn't have to be a Titanic Mountain of Meat. You didn't *have to* do steroids early on and down painkillers to *earn a living*. You could actually come as you are, bring the talent you bring, and be yourself....

I mean, come on, if Stacy Keibler was a *raw rookie* today, she wouldn't be let anywhere near a ring and you know it. ;) She's just too small, and too unwilling to let steroids and multiple mandatory boob jobs wreck her health.

And you *never ever* heard anything on the old WCW about the *guys* getting *chest implants* like you did a year or two ago with the Rock getting what? Implants for his pecs? Huh??

And yeah, I know, it's fixed, not even remotely competitive, but damn....isn't anyone allowed to look human anymore? Or have the "Humanoids" taken over the Asylum?

--You actually had more than five minutes of wrestling in the ring at any given time. Who here even remembers the 20 minute time limits? Or the Best Two out of Three Falls Match, or heaven forbid, the Gauntlet Match? Think.....it's been a while since we've even had more action in the ring than on the Mike, hyping up the next Monthly Pay-per-View.

It's been a long while since the Ring Action to Hype Ratio has even been One to One, one minute of ring action to one minute of "Blahblahblah, at ArmaVengeSlam, BLAHBLAH BALAAAAH!!"

Really. And I miss *technical* mat wrestling, which WCW seemed to favor pre-Bischoff, pre-glitz....

--Not to mention....you can't throw a stick at the WW*'s historical roster without finding a ton of WCW alumni....really, do you think guys like Guererro, Benoit, Jericho, or Mysterio got *started* with McMahon? Dude, *nobody* who actually isn't a SquareHead MuscleFreak got their start with McMahon. Nobody.

WW*--that "*" being for whatever letter of the alphabet you choose in the privacy of your own homes, people, so keep the World Wildlife Fund's Panda Pansies off my jock, ok?--never has been about the talent. It's been about the show, and about *taking* talent at its peak. Often from their direct competitors.

And now...there are no direct competitors. And guess what.

The new talent sucks rocks these days, doesn't it?

I would watch all but TNA because if all of this was true there would be no TNA. Bring Back WCW and scrap Smackdown
