Hey guys, today I was sitting at my desk when a spider came on my chest. I kinda freaked out and accidently tilted my head forward to the point where my chin touches my chest, it was fast though. And I felt kinda a pull near the back of my neck. My back kinda hurts now kinda below where my neck connects to my shoulders. Im walking fine though, but it kinda hurts. What's going on? Don't tell me to visit a doctor because I would have done that and woulnd't be asking here.

It's whiplash, well that's what its call if you were in a car. You probably pulled the muscle in your neck. Ice for about 20 minutes, then you can apply a warm pack. They have creams at cvs for muscle pain, Myoflex is good, massage it into the area that is hurting, circular motion, It should feel better in a couple of days, Good luck.

You probably pulled a muscle otherwise known as a "crick" in the neck kinda like when you sleep wrong. However, if this doesn't improve please see a Dr. Because it could be a pinched nerve or a disc problem. If these are not taken care of they only get worse. Try Motrin for pain and swelling. There can be tissue swelling that is not visible.

You probably plled your neck muscles. Neck strain (cervical strain, sometimes called "whiplash") is a stretching injury to the muscles and ligaments of the neck. It can occur when the head is forceably bent forward. It's treated with the same principles as other orthopedic injuries: rest and ice, then early activity and strengthening exercises. Think of it as a "sprained ankle" in your neck.

I doubt you have suffered a spinal cord injury. More likely than not you simply strained your muscles and it'll work out in a few days to a week. Do ice and heat - alternating - you should see an improvement.
