no really, are there some aphrodisiac chemicals in there or something?
everytime I smell something coconutty, my hormones turn on.. like tonight I went out to eat and the waitress had on this coconut perfume and whoa, I suddenly felt like kissing her. maybe this goes back to the time my first girlfriend and I went to the beach and she rubbed me all over with coconut oil, but maybe somebody knows if coconut has something in it that's supposed to cause me to react like this?

Truthfully, it probably does go back to that time with your girl. It was a good memory right. Smell is the sense that is most strongly tied to memory believe it or not. A lot of people have sent that they relate to something like that. For me its a certian cologne (the one my first boyfriend wore )it doesn't even smell that good, but it makes my tummy do flip flops when I smell it and a I want kiss the guy. I don't even have feelings for that boyfriend anymore, but that smell is strongly tied to a time in my life when I had that feeling a lot. For someone else I know its that new car smell cause he fell in love on a new school bus. haha. Anyway, you get the picture.

Actually it is simply the scent of it. Scent is one of the most powerful triggers for memory and the memories of the feelings you had for that girlfriend are triggered by teh smell of coconut. it happens to lost of people. I ahd a friend ho had to change the road he took home from work because of the trees there had the same secent as an area wher he used to tae one of his girlfriends and he couldnt drive by there without becoming aroused. So it isn't the anything in the coconut, it is in the memory that is associated with that scent. Really isn't much to do about it, wish there was...then maybe I could eat lasagna again.
