My cell phone had some exposure to moisture..and since then it reboots every time i press a key. Its a T-mobile SDA aka I-mate sp5. Before i send it in for repairs i'd like to know if the battery is short..if so i can get a new one.

Any help about how to test if a battery is faulty would be welcome..Thanks

Since you don't mention losing any fingers, the battery is probably not short-circuited. You DO have short(s) on the phone's pc board. Send it in for repairs or buy a new one, whichever is more economical. I doubt that the damage is covered by warranty.
