even though i have deleted my user name and password anyone can log right on to my personal page why

If you are not going to use mesenger again, goto my computer, c drive, program files find the folder "mesenger" and rename it messenger off, it wont bother you again. You will have to shut the program down before you can rename it.

Go into the preferences in yahoo messenger and uncheck "Start yahoo when windows starts up."

All those answers are correct. You turned it on (or it was turned on as a default) so--- turn it (them- Ms or Y or what ever ms you have) off.

run msconfig and click the startup tab. then uncheck it.
