just wondering in anybody has tried using the dollar store pregnancy tests and if so was it accurate? Thank you

I have used them, and they are accurate, you just have to take them at the right time as with any other test

My friend swears by the dollar store pregnancy tests and those are the ones she tested on when she found out she was pregnant. Although sometimes they are the ones where you pee in a little cup and have to put a stick in it...a bit gross, but the same concept as the fifteen dollar ones. I used them last month when my period was late and it accurately showed I was NOT pregnant. So, I am thinking from experience and from my friend's experience that they are the same as the more expensive kind. Also, each test detects the same HCG hormone, and both work exactly the same. Maybe the cheaper versions need more HCG levels to maintain an accurate reading, but if you wait until the day after your period is due to test, you will get the same result.

I used the $ store test and it came up + when I was 3 weeks pregnant. They are still 99% accurate.

Yes, I have and they actually worked better than the digital ones. I took two of the digital and they said not pregnant and I tried the dollar store version and I was pregnant. Good Luck

Yes I did and they are accurate. I knew a pregnancy referral clinic who used them to help people get Medicaid. I hope you get the result your looking for!

All pregnancy tests are the same. They look for the same hormone, I just think some are more sensitive and detect the hormone better than others.

yes i've taken them alot and they've been right everytime. i've never been pregnant but they were still right--- AND one of the girls i use to work with found out she was pregnant with all 3 of her children when she took the dollar store test!

haven't but I would just go to the free clinic they can talk to you comfort you and help you out plus they give free condoms if you are having trouble with money, good luck, big hugs

There great haven't had one wrong on me yet. They actually need a lower amount of hcg to show up so there almost better.Best of luck...
