I lived in a house that came with a ghost. He was part of the family and we even invited him to move with us when we moved. (he didn't)

When we moved into the house, a suit jacket that was left in the basement by the owners would jump from the hook when we'd pass. We'd hear him walking around and he would open the living room window in the morning. My dad nailed the window shut in the winter but one day my sister's boyfriend was talking about how much our ghost freaked him out and the window went up, nails and all. *lol*

I believe it was the owners father who was there because they hadn't had any incidents but the dad died very suddenly and he had a great sense of humor.

For some reason, it was my mom the "ghost" teased the most. He would do things like taking the can opener just before my mom would need it or he'd take the giant amber glass ash tray from the holder in the living room. My mom would scold him and tell him she was getting the priest if he didn't return the items then she'd leave the room. The can opener or ash tray would be back where they should be when she came back.

He also turned the tv on, opened a cupboard above the fridge that my mom couldn't reach to close (that drove her nuts *lol* and she'd yell at him) and he'd blow out candles.

We didn't ever "see" him. Everyone felt him and knew he was there though, it was hard to ignore him when he was opening windows that were nailed shut. I still keep in touch with the neighbors and they told the new owners about the ghost when they moved in. They've been there for 27 years and "Mr. Grant" is still there with them. They've tried explaining to him that he should find the light but he doesn't seem to have any inclination to leave.

Yes, a few times. First one I can remember is when I was maybe 5 years old. I saw "someone" outside my bedroom and started talking to them, thinking it was my younger brother. When I walked into the hall, nobody was there, and my brother was tucked into bed asleep.

I used to live in a house with a dark closet in the back of the bedroom that creeped me out! And to make it worse, my sister's parakeet would look in the direction of the closet and go nuts! Once in the basement of that house, I was doing laundry and looked up to see "someone" leaning over and staring into the window above me. I looked outside but nobody was anywhere near the house.

When I was about 20, I awoke to some dark shadowy figure leaning over me, looking into my face. I couldn't move, and felt like I was being held down. Other times if felt the mattress moving, like someone was on my bed with me, but nobody was there.

A few years later, I was volunteering to help renovate an old building with a friend. He left to go to soccer practice, then I heard someone walking down the stairs outside the room I was in. I went and looked, and there was a door at the bottom of the stairs. It was bolted shut. Nobody else was around.

Another time in the same building, I was downstairs with a friend and we heard a toilet flush upstairs. Nobody was there though. I guess ghosts gotta go sometimes too!

i was sleeping and was woken up because i felt a presence in the room. i was sleeping on my front , and saw this pure white light, which i have never seen anywhere else, its very very bright, but it dsnt hurt ur eyes, and i saw a young girl's shoes, and shocks, and her wearing a frock, but somehow i coudnt face my eyes up to look what the h*ll is going on, i got so scared i tried to shout, but no words came out, and i cudnt get up from my bed cos i felt a pressure on my back as if some force or thing was pressing me down, and cudnt move arms or legs, either cos i was frightened or i dont know.

It lasted for 30 seconds to a minute i think, and then everything stopped, and i started to cry and freak out , and ran out of the room.

I still dont believe this happened to me, but yeah, im sure most of you wont either.

Yea, we had a home with the stuff. You know when your alone in a room, and suddenly the room gets even more quiet. Like space is being taken up...yea, thats when ya know. Or if for some unknown reason you become extremely hesitant in what you are about to do, whether to go into a room or not, there is a reason for that. Remember, Angels are not sent here to live with YOU permanately....if something lingers in your home for years, it is not of the positive.

I used to work in the Winchester Mystery House and felt and heard some really eerie things, but I never saw anything although other staff said that they did - and I believe them.

My ex died in my home. I remember one night about a week after he died, I was laying in bed on my side crying I got a weird feeling and opened my eyes and he was on his side looking at me. Just like we use to do when he was alive. My whole body tingled when I realized what I saw, I was afraid to blink because he would be gone. I don't know if I was just totally grief stricken or if he was really there to console me.

Unnatural, only in robotics research laws. Supernatural, often.

I saw a dark spirit standing by my bed once and it scared me to death. I covered my head up and prayed...(I was about 18)

I also saw a spiritual being standing by my bed, and it led me to adopt four kids. (I was in my 30's) There is truely two forces on the earth. one is evil and one is good. I have personal proof of this fact.
