Trust -you can trust all of the people sometimes but you can't trust some of the people all the time - only person you can trust all the time is yourself.

I know people say all the time that patience is a virtue, but it isn't one of the "main" virtues...those are: faith, hope, charity, fortitude, justice, temperance, and prudence. Of those, I believe temperance is the most overrated...temperance is the practice of moderation, restraint, self mastery, frugality, and sobriety. If you think about it, though, without a lack of restraint would America be a country? Without a lack of self mastery, would we have had Abe Lincoln as president (a man that never succeeded at any venture he ever entered into)? If we focuced on frugality, would Bill Gates have dropped out of college and risked everything to work on computers? I guess what I'm saying is that temperance in moderation is alright, but it takes a certain amount of risk to become truly successful, and risk has never been a virtue.
