My mom is in charge of the decorations, she asked me what would be a good theme for my sis since its a surprise, ok to cut a long story short what seems to be a good idea for a soon to be teenager? Please help! She is not in girlie girl stuff but she does LOVE her horses, maybe a horse theme i dont know Im lost. What theme and what kinda games should be played?

i have a friend who worked at a horse stable. they were throwing a birthday party there when i visited her. you can get horse party supplies on the net or on ebay. at the stable they had hay bales outside with horse gear sitting on them (cowboy hats and such), a horse pinata (sp), model horses sitting around, etc... you may could even have it at a stable because some are heated inside. they even gave horse rides after the party. i hope this helps you.

Shes becoming a teenagers, so she will want to be treated like a adult, but not too much like one that it comes too boring for her. So i would go for, Hawaii,or something tropical. You could also do horses since you mentioned she like horses, You could find out if she has a favorite band, or singer. And could go into that theme, or what music she likes as well. But keep it simple, you should call a few mothers of the kids attending the party and see what kids now a days are into. You dont want to do a theme that will embarrass her either..so do some research with her friends and see what they are into right now.

Look up some party games on line to fill up most of the time. Set up either a pizza or sandwich platter. You can hang up pictures of cute movie stars and vote on the hottest. Send everyone home with a party bag...put in a bag of microwave popcorn, a cany bar or two, a pack of gum, and if you can afford it a five dollor gift card to a fast food joint!

play some games like bingo, and have the prizes be silly or maybe with a horse theme...how about cherades and use hore movies and such...maybe unicorns might be cute. Sort of mix up things and play some kid type games and also some more grown up games you might make some stick horses and have horse races..........in teams, mock barrel races and such.
