How come Osama bin Laden hasn't been caught yet?

I mean we can find Saddam hiding in a hole in the ground, in the middle of nowhere, but we can't find Osama. And how is it that bin Laden's people can get tapes to the media without anyone knowing where they come from. Come on, this is so rediculous.

We can't find him becuase our idiotic president has sent the troops to Iraq to take over the country and dethrone Saddam due to all his "weapons of mass destruction", which we still haven't found any freaking evidence of todate. Doesn't anyone realize that we went to Iraq because War is Big Business and Bush's oil buddies and Halliburton needed some work!

If Osama is to be found he's going to be in Afghanistan, where he has the support network for Al-Queda. Why can't he be found there, because the poeple of Afghanistan see him as an ally against thier enemy, which is the U.S. $25 million is definitely not a large enough sum of money to get anyone in that religious extremist country to flip on Osama, I can guarantee you that. Those are probably the reasons why we haven't found him, because we have focused our attention on getting our young soldiers killed.

No one is saying that he shouldn't have fought Terrorism after 9/11, I fully agree that the U.S. should have, just as I agree that Spain, England, and Israel should. I can't believe some of the answers I read on here! For all of you that think Bin Laden should just be so easy to find sign of for the military and go over there and just walk up to him and find him. For all you Bush haters I want to know what would you have done on September 11th 2001. Would you have just said oh well and not done anything to protect us. Don't forget they attacked us! I am not saying that there is a tie between Iraq and Bin Laden. I am not saying that everything that has happened has been the right thing to do either. But have you ever lived under a cruel dictator. Saddam only cared about himself and not his people. That is why he killed thousands for not doing what he said and thinking what he wanted. At least we live in a country where we can have our opinion and our president will not have us killed for having a different opinion than him.

He is a smart criminal, changes up his indentity, keeps on the move, and had his guards do his dirty work. plus he has alot followers who will become a 'martyr' for him. he is tall, dark and well..... rich, not exactly casanova. I imagine he will be killed more likely by a mountain lion or wild desert animal, than anyone else.

Saddam was not found in the middle of nowhere. He was ratted on by the folks at whose house he was hiding, in a populated suburban area swarming with US troops. Remember how hard it was to find him in a country the size of California swarming with our troops. We did not find him, he was revealed to us.

Osama is hiding out in remote areas controlled by hard-core Islamists. He takes advantage of the fact that he has widespread Muslim support. Saddam did not.

Al Jazeera says the tapes are simply dropped off by anonymous people. They seem to believe in terrorists' freedom of speech, so they happily air the tapes.
