they practice what is refered to in the human kingdom as racism, and that is being with familiar types.as in being with their own KIND. So if its racism, which its not then its natural!

I didn't want to answer this question cos I don't know what the questioner is driving at but I can't help commenting.
Sorry Steve B, I think you are talking about species not races. It is more appropriate to substitute races with breeds and not species.
And Kaw Dawg, some animals recognize each other by smell and not fur color. So probably nothing will happen to that monkey in your answer. The poor chimpanzee may get beaten though for being a newbie but there is also a chance he may be accepted.
At least I think so lol.

Tribalism and clanism are typical in most animals. But the do not have what what we would call "race". Lower animals recognize each other by smell. Higher animals use a combination of sight and smell.
Tribalism keeps the number of individuals in an area small and insures enough food and resources for the group.
Humans invented "race" as a way of forming groups.

I suppose if you wanna relate the topic to animal kingdom, its not neccessarily a good reference but since you put it that way No racism is not natural in the kingdom, many animals survive by species and etc unlike man which derives off of their own undated solutions of trying to better themselves of their own short comings other than facing the facts and realizing we are are equal , there is good and bad in all, and if you are a christian then by all means you should toss the idea out the window because god was a jew, and they were people of dark skin, not afro american, not white, native american and so forth..racism, smacism its all opinions and they my friend are like assholes, we all have one

Take a captive monkey and die part of his fur blue or change his appearance in some other obvious way. The other monkeys in the troop will beat him death. Put a strange chimpanzee in with a new group. The young males will beat him to death.

While keeping at a safe distance
If you look at certain parts of Africa
And then look at certain parts of America

It is not called racism, but "breedism" and we, primates, are the ones that stimulate breedism. By instinct animals condition themselves to breedism.
