Yes, if your phone is capable of internet, use Yahoo, Google, etc's Mobile Service. You'll be able to read all your email from your cell phone.

It depends on the carrier and type of service you ordered on your contract and the type of phone you have. Examplee: Sprint PCS gives a free e-mail address with their PCS service. You can check it at the website of from the phone. Check your provider's website. If you have a phone that is capable of it, you can POP (Point Of Presence) many e-mail accounts but will have to know the sending and receiving servers.
