Communications code. Not a G.M. code, but a code generated by the scanner manufacturer.
You don't tell us what year, but Trailblazer implies something fairly new (~2000 or newer)
Any code that is generated by the vehicle's computer will be a 5-digit code. They will always begin with a letter, followed by 4 numbers.
Try another scanner or code reader. If you don't have access to one, then try a discount auto parts store. Many will read your codes in hopes that you buy your parts from them.
NOTE-----> A code represents a circuit or system malfunction, NOT necessarily a component. Don't assume a P0171 "System lean, bank 1" means that you should put an Oxygen sensor in. It may have absolutely nothing to do with the sensor, but rather a restricted fuel filter.
Good Luck

i think code 442 is an evap/ system leak 'check the gas cap & gasket for wear also can be caused by removing the gas cap while the engine is running. the fuel system is pressurized the pcm is monitoring these systems & has found adrop in pressure inturn code 442 .can also be carbon build up in the egr system&throttle body you can buy repair manuals at nearly any part store that has trouble shooting guides with the codes listed&howtorepair [note these type of codes can be hard to trobleshoot&repair

That is a P0442 code right? "Evaporative emission small leak detected". Either the gas cap was slightly loose or you put on a locking gas cap. Locking caps are prone to leaking. I think you need to straighten out your V-6 into a inline 6. Keep gas cap tight clear the code and if it comes back then have a qualified mechanic find the small leak.
