Well she was my best friends little sister when I was in high school. There was no romantic connection then mainly because I was 4 years older than her. My friends family moved across the state after graduation. 7 years later I happen to see her at a store here in town( she didn't look 14 anymore). Turns out her parents moved back to town, she was with them because of a divorce and I had just been through a divorce also. We have been married now 14 yrs.

At work and it was the owners daughter. No it's not what you think. I am not on the trickle down system and I married her because I love her.

We went through some horrible times at work. Her father's executive and our boss made life miserable for us and her father wouldn't do anything. We had a tough two years dating we married after four years. We had a tough two years in marriage and we will be married for seven with three childern.

I am still inlove with her. She is the most beautiful when she is pregnant, because of the sacrafice she makes for the both of us to have a child. Nothing could ever beat that for me.

Sorry I went on, but I do love my wife and all she does for me.

I met my husband at the wedding of two friends of mine; it turned out that he also knew the guy getting married, but not the bride. This was in 1990, so it was almost 16 years ago. I heard him before I saw him; he was in line to eat, and so was I, and I heard someone singing behind me, and I turned around wondering who it was. Funny, as tall as my husband is, (6'3") I couldn't see him. Anyway, I finally did see him at the table my friends and I were sitting at, and he was at the other end, so I waved him down to join us.

After that, we all went out bowling, and he beat me. The next night, we were at the house of the mother of the groom, and we were sitting next to each other, and the mother asked us when we were getting married, and I remarked that I had just met him the day before, so that wasn't in the plan. Later, we shared our first kiss in her kitchen, after I'd called my mother to tell her that we would be on our way home the next morning. It was like fireworks going off!

We've been through a lot of ups and downs over the last 16 years, 13 of those married, but we're still hanging in there.

I met the love of my life 15 years ago in Newport News, Va. He was the best friend of my best friend and she played cupid..We fell in love and had a whirlwind courtship and 12 years of marriage. He had a work related accident and became disabled and I was his caregiver. I would not have traded one minute of time with him for anything and wish that it could have gone on forever, but he went home to the Lord last year and I am here to face this world alone without my love..So people , if you have someone in your life that you could not imagine being without..appreciate that person and let them know that you love them every day..none of us are promised forever...
