Making people laugh

1. He is the first president to acknowledge terrorists are evil and go after them. No negotiating. Note the comment includes both parts.

2. He forced tax cuts. He understands when you give money back to people, you pump more money into the economy. Thus more money is make and tax revenues go up.

3. He has refused to waiver in the war on terror. Polls do not matter, he is staying until the job is done. President Clinton did not do this. He pulled out of Somalia and emboldened the terrorists. They knew that we would not take casualties. When there was no retaliation for attacks, terrorists planned bigger attacks. Clinton was not the only President who did not handle the terror attacks with retaliation, but his refusal to do anything made the problem much worse. Other guilty parties: Reagan and Carter. Iran hostages cost Carter the election.

4. He has held the office with dignity. He does not cheat on his wife. He is a real person. He is a humble man. I am glad he is an outward Christian. I am glad to see my President handle himself well. He is a good and decent person and no one can really dispute this.

5. He understands the need to drill for oil. We have backwards environmental laws that cost us at the pump.

There are many things that Pres. Bush has not done. Conservatives are very upset with him: spending too much, Medicare part D (prescription drugs), illegal immigration. I will keep this part short because you did not ask for this.

I also bet almost all liberals cannot say anything nice. I asked a similar question and not one gave me a good answer.

He has started a program for the military that asks soldiers what they think would make their lives easier/safer. Then they are getting the new equipment anywhere from 6 months to a year. If you have ever served in the military you know the turn around time for development of new equipment was at least 5-10 YEARS. That's quite a difference, and an important one if you are the getting ambushed. Or just being miserable in the 130 degree heat.

Thank you George

There is a light at the end of the tunnel with regard to the war in Iraq, and the Iraqi government is behind us. In the future, the fledgling democracy in Iraq has a chance to be a key ally for the U.S. in the mideast.

Iraqi President Jalal Talabani wrote President Bush on behalf of the Iraqi people, expressing condolences to the families of Sept. 11 victims.
"On this sad and memorable day, I would like to reiterate the gratitude of the people of Iraq for the people of America and for your leadership," Talabani wrote. "The people of Iraq will never forget those who helped them in getting rid of the most brutal and terrorist regime of Saddam Hussein."

The ONLY good thing George W. Bush has done in his two terms is not speak too much. Oh!, and act stupid...why the hell do you care to make a good case for him? If you have to ask others for the good things he's done then it's apparent he hasn't done much. By you asking this trifle of a question it makes him look even more stupid then he already is. A little word of advice...find a corner and take a seat...DON'T under any circumstances get up until you can think of one good thing this shithole has done for this country. A similar question I have is: What are the two most stupid things this country has done? Elect George W. Bush...TWICE!!! Thanks for making me hate republicans more than I already do. Bye...

Lower unemployment and strong economy is what republicans say.

As you can see.

It is true, however.. that unemployment is down.. And that is great. Though, debt is EXTREME, we're in a war that had nothing to do with 9/11, and lots more sh!t.

If you're looking for only good things then unemployment is down. You just have to ignore that it's not helping our debt... or the gap between the rich and the poor... or the fact that the gap is reaching the point where the middle class is deteriorating.

It doesn't matter how anybody answers you, if they really do tell you something good, you will NOT pick them as the best answer because you are bipartisan, it's obvious in your sarcastic question. That is what is annoying about people like you. Ask a real question, get a real answer, and be honest and choose that answer. you KNOW he has done good things, among his STUPID things.. there has to be ONE or TWO right? don't just hate for the fun of it.

He took out all that bullshit about the right to report on immigration hearings conducted by the Justice Department, lets us spy on co-workers if you suspect them of being a terrorist, monitors all international calls involving someone in the U.S., so we are safer from terrorism, and withdrew the Anti-Ballistic Missile treaty, so now we can fire ballistic missiles without as much hesitation.

He helped the economy though.

for one he has the back bone to clean up Clinton's failed attempts at foreign policy and brought us out for the Clinton recession. but I sense a bit of sarcasm in that question. I could be wrong but if not you don't really want the truth anyway so why bother. all you liberal and democratic smear merchants, your words are meaning less, you pander to the ignorant, Clinton was to blame. you are a sad bunch of anti American pinheads. die Ala die.
