ok, i just wanna know, i'm scared when i was a little kid, markers and things went up there, and i am scared, i didn't know any better, i was a little kid. i want the gyneacologist to think im a virgin, i know now that that was sick, but little kids do weird things. ??

Oh sweetie, the hymen can break naturally for a lot of reasons. Tampon use, horseback riding, bicycle riding, doing splits, you name it. The doctor is not going to think a thing one way or the other, a pelvic exam with a speculum could break the hymen. If a doctor did express an opinion one way or the other I would find a different doctor. The hymen is just a thin band of tissue in most women and is easily torn. Also, you shouldn't fret over sexual exploration you may have done as a little girl, it's normal!

Yes, calm down. Your hymen can break from using tampons, masturbation, and extremely heavy periods. If you put too many things up there, then the gynecologist will probably think that you just masturbated, which is none of his/her business. He might think you lost your virginity, but if you haven't, you need to let him know either way because annual pap smears are really important if you are sexually active. And one last thing. . . markers??

The state of your hymen and the state of your virginity are two totally different issues. First of all, the doctor is not going to care if you are a virgin or not. Hymens get broken doing all kinds of things, like sports. You need to be honest with your doctor, not worry yourself silly about what he or she will think of you. A gynecologist is like a hairdresser, you couldn't say a thing to them that they haven't seen or heard wierder.

Gynecologists don't care. Hymens can be ruptured by playing with oneself or horseback riding, etc. If you haven't had intercourse with a man, you are a virgin and, if you stick to markers, will be for your husband.

It can break or tear during strenuous exercise, and has also been known to break or tear in girls who ride horses often. It would be best, though, to be honest with the doc. I'm sure he/she has heard it all before. Little kids DO do weird things.

Yes, strenuous sports, tampons and even markers can break your hymen...doesn't mean you are not a virgin and it all hymens have some opening our menstrual blood could not escape...don't worry.

Yes, your hymen can break naturally, by playing sports, exercise, riding bike..or by putting markers up there.
But..you really should be HONEST with your gynecologist. She wont look down on you because your "not a virgin" & she wont reprimand you. Please make sure you are honest with your gyn because it is important for your health.

There are plenty of things that would make it break. Horseback riding, falling.... lots of things. Who cares what the gynecologist thinks. You know the truth.
