I had a friend who had a HUGE fish that got an even huger tumor on it's head, right above it's eye. She had the vet look at it, and he said that it was normal for the type of fish, and that it was not cancerous. I don't know if fish can even get cancer.. I'm wondering myself. Anyway, it could all depend on the type of fish that you have.. just like some type of dogs are prone to eye problems, or back problems, etc.

yes, on their scales, fins and even in the brain. anything living can have cancer and of fish, cancer may be caused of the food the fishes eat, or the quality of the water.
