i like a guy who wears jeans and button up shirts. i like the "smart" look. but i care about the personality. he's got to be funny, smart, nice, kind, caring, sweet, romantic, and he's got to like my friends. he cant be a "player" or a "gangsta" and he cant be obsessed with sex, blowjobs, or naked women.

Your savior: Stereotypes. Seriously, MOST people fall into a stereotype (that's how they were formed anyhow, a lot of people acted the same).

If it's a "gangster" looking girl, like she has those tight Pepe Jeans and jacket, or that Rocawear crap, well she's into older men more than likely, and definitely the "gangster" type.

A regular girl, possibly prep, goes for the average guy. Often goes for the good looking guys but winds up with average guys.

Preps, end up with preppy guys or jocks. Mean to say, but... well at least in HIGH SCHOOL it's damn true. People stick with their stereotypes.

Normally, race with race, style with style, personality with personality. For example if you see a girl, and she's pretty loud and obnoxious-seeming, well she probably likes guys that are the same way.

For my, I'm sort of an Asian prep, I like a funny guy, not the gangster type, one who dresses respectably, and I don't mind if guys go too far for me, it's very flattering and goes more into consideration. Then again, depends how far because I wouldn't want to go out with a guy that seemed obsessed with me, that's creepy. I've met my dream guy, and well, he's everything I want (sometimes a little more!) and he's all I'll ever need.

Chances are you won't wind up like me (for me, this is pretty early in life), but you'll find someone for sure, no worries. Whatever you do, be yourself, say hi, smile, joke a little, and maybe even tease a little (ONLY a little). Girls like that no matter what they say. About the stereotypes thing, just remember, that not the same thing applies to all who seem to fall under the stereotype.

Take a look at the 'type' of girl you like. What style does she wear? What is the male complimenting style? - You adopt that as your style.

If you like girls into hip hop and that look - dress like a hip hop guy. Like preppy flowery girls? Dress in Gap. Like dark girls with pink hair? Get some black skinny jeans a tight blue blazer and a scarf.

As for personality, just let yours shine. Be positive. Look on the bright side. Have interests (hockey, soccer, planes, etc) and learn something about what girls are into so you'll have something to talk about and know what she's talking about.

Pretend you enjoy shopping. Learn to cook. Work.

You'll be fine.

well most girls like the latest things, earrings makeup, clothes ect. they also like guys that can be nice strong smart you know like in the movies their just perfect! try to wath a few movies maybe youll get some tips. but remeber be yourself!!
