Why is it that the religious right does not respect the Supreme Court's 1948 ruling of Church & State?

But in general,

1. The supreme court has reversed themselves a number of times; so it is possible that they may do so again.

2. Since the Constitution has Auras and Penumbras, and is a living document (all Liberal arguments, by the way) perhaps they will find some other shadow that hasn't been seen up until now.

There is nothing in the Constitution about a so-called "separation of church and state," including the so-called "establishment clause'' which only says that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion."

It says "Congress" and therefore the restriction is put upon Congress, while the people are to retain the right of Freedom of Speech to express themselves, including expressing their religion, their views that are based upon it and their ability to effect those views into sound law.

That's actually what happened and it's why our country became so noble, that is, until liberals began destroying it.

i think because they go by what the Bible says and that has more power than a judge....... Although I am Christian, I DO believe that church and state should be respected!
