its a tragedy that it happened but dont u think bringin it up all the time would make it harder for people who lost loved ones in the crisis to move on than it already is,, and also im from ok and ppl stopped talkin bout the okc bombin like half a year later, and thats qualifies as a terrorist attack 2 me even if it was a white american that done it

Those people must move on whether or not 9/11 is mentioned in public or not. That is a straw man argument. I hear about OKC less than 9/11 but still quite often so your argument is specious.

People must remember both. It is important to remember that even those perceived as a non-threat may be terrorists. It is equally important to recognize that there is stronger and ongoing threat from a new fascist organization on the world stage.

what do you mean all the time? I think you should ask "how many people are tired of hearing how evil bush is" is the more appropriate question. I don't see any 9/11 questions until today, which I think is entirely appropriately for the day. It is something that our country, at least at my age (25) will never forget. and nobody ahs forgot about the OKC bombing. All tragedies such as that I remember. It's not offensive, just doesn't make sense.

So...we should also forget the Day of Infamy? The Alamo?Bunker Hill? The invasion of Poland by the Nazis? Fort Sumter?
The Holocaust?

It was a national attack using individuals as weapons and targets. I hope we never forget, because if we do we will no longer be human.

If you are tired of hearing about it, turn off your tv or walk away from whatever your news source is.

Since I still remember the Oklahoma bombing, I mustn't be "anybody". ; )

I will never be tired of hearing about 9/11 and I believe it isn't shown enough. We have enemies out there and we needed to be reminded because as a society we forget too quickly. The people who lost loved ones will never forget that day and in honor of their memory and in honor of those who live, we better not forget either.

Don't they still get together at the site of the OK bombing and hold a memorial? That is what they are doing now, and yes you are correct the fed building bombing was a terrorist attack.

I am tired of the money were spending on this. The government is not qualified to handle this situation. Our most heavily defended ship was blown up by a tug boat and then they use our own airplanes against us, in Iraq they are destroying us with crude weapons and still we spend billions of dollars on new technology, they just dont get it

i'm soooo tired of it! i lost a cousin (he was in Tower 2 about 2 floors below impact). ENOUGH ALREADY!! i'm tired of reliving it. it's doesn't bring anybody back, and it doesn't change what happened. it doesn't change the fact that bush created a diversionary war in search of saddam to hide the fact he can't find bin laden. (and before anybody starts on me about war-bashing, my daughter's half-brother is a marine stationed in iraq and i'm glad he's there defending whatever....blah blah blah). can we stop being the world police for one minute and take care of all the problems here at home? hmmm, let's see....katrina and the lack of response, homelessness, the declining economy, children/families in poverty or on the borderline with no medical coverage and no steady meals on the table...... i'm more concerned about those things becoz i can help fix these problems. i can't fix anything about 911 and a terrorist attack that our government should've never allowed to happen in the first place. that's why they call it history, people. it's on the books now....move on. i did.

I understand where you're coming from. I tend to flip through the channels when the ceremonies are on, but I have to say that I would rather listen to the same stuff over and over again than to encounter another devastation like we did that day. It's when we stop remembering that we let our guards down.

Only heartless, cold blooded people would ever feel like 9/11's tragedies should be forgotten about.
Our entire country is changed forever.
