I wanna join a sport but im 5'3" and 145 pounds which is like ... overweight.. and i dont know what to do. i walk a ton and all, but nothing seems to be working!

HELP!

I'm 5 feet tall I do badminton and swimming. (not a lot) I wouldn't suggest basketball but if you are good at something, height wouldn't matter. If you practice hard enough you build up muscles. Anyway, how old are you? Younger you are, the more chance you have of getting your body used to the demands. How about some martial arts or gymnastics. But really, if you want to have fun and move your body, try dancing.

Sports are a lot of fun and a very good way to make new friends but you have to play a sport you are going to enjoy not just because your friends are doing it. So my best advise is go play some thing you think may be fun and start there, personally I like basketball, baseball and soccer.

See what the Rec Councils are off erring. It might be a little late for soccer and Lacrosse, but basketball is coming up. You can take swimming lessons at the Y, or try Karate. Drink a lot of water, don't drink regular soda or eat a lot of junk or fast foods, and don't snack, except for carrots and apples.

Swim, swim swim. Great for the joints and you will get toned and lose weight at the same time. By the way your not that overweight, lose 10 pounds and your as good as new!

Soft ball, basket ball, valley ball, feild hockey, street hockey ice hockey, just plan skating ice or street do that with a buch of friends. and there is soccer. get on teams at your school if you attend school.
You are in the right range you are not over weight.

Racquetball is a great sport for getting in shape. Your local YMCA should have lessons and tourneys for all experience levels.

Ok, if u r a boy, u can join football, base ball, or wrestling... If u r a girl, anything will work, u can try tennis, soccer,or soft ball. anything u put your mind to will work, trust me.

Run just for fun. I lost plenty of weight that way, if that is what you are looking for. Lifting weights is fun aswell.

145 POUNDS AINT OVERWEIGHT U SHOULD PRACTICE THE SPORT MORE OFTEN TRY THAT
