A reverse cell phone lookup service I have used is http://reversephone.toptips.org
Enter the number in the system and they will tell you a lot of informations about the phone number and the person who owns it.
If they have extra details you will have to pay for the report.
Free reverse phone lookup sites generally don't provide anything interesting. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book.
The best thing is that you can get informations about anyone!!

Yes, whenever I forget my name, I scrutinize the phone book until I find myself. I also read it whenever I'm looking for names for people's babies, especially total strangers.
I'm not kidding about this one. It's famous in my little part of the world. In both the white and yellow pages, we have a Richard Long Real Estate. Mr. Long appears to have a lot of money to waste on advertising, or perhaps he's just a very insecure person, because he's also listed in huge bold type as:
Long Richard Real Estate
**** Long Real Estate
Long **** Real Estate
If Mr. Long reams you too badly, we also have a:
Harry A. Hole Stump Removal
I'd imagine he's closely related to:
Harry B. Hole, our local Mack Truck Dealer
and their third cousin twice removed:
Colin Ainuss General Health Foods and Organic Vitamins
Maybe I read the phone book too much, my beautiful little Not-Quite Deceased Princess.

reverse phone number search compiles hundreds of millions of phone book records to help locate the owner's name, location, time zone, email and other public information.
Use a reverse phone lookup to:
Get the identity of an unknown caller.
Identify an area code.
Recall the name of a person whose number you wrote down.
Identify an unfamiliar phone number that shows up on your bill.

I highly recommend that book. Did you read the part where DR. Wither (white pages) found Trolman & Glacier lawyers to defend his surgery malpractice then rented a Uhaul using the little green money coupons? I couldn't believe it either!

The last time I was perusing the "Smiths" and quietly pondering why there were so many "Smiths" in the phone book,, I realised with a start at 2am that the reason would have to be that they all have the phone on,, you can learn a lot from the phone book

Yeah....
The characters are paper-thin, the pacing is SO predictable, foreshadowing is almost nonexistent, and the story line is very, very linear.
Not the best read. But better than the DaVinci Code.
Two stars.
