Why did you post this question a million times?
You take them orally or are you using the suppositories? Neither one will hurt the baby but there is a slight possibility the bowel stimulation from the suppositories might possibly stimulate labor if the cervix was already favorable but it's unlikely unless you're doing it all the time. Better than you are well hydrated, trying prunes and prune juice and eating lots of fiber and then you can only use the Dulcolax if it's not working.

FYI- you are not considered constipated unless the stool is very hard. It does not count if it is just more days between bowel movements. Just thought you would like to know, not that you mentioned it.
Laxatives are addictive and your body becomes dependent on them (when you don't take them you can be more constipated)...and you are pregnant. But..you can use Colace. Up to 300mgs/day. It is a stool softener only. Also, get up in the morning, sip a hot drink and let your body do its thing. Most of us are in way too much hurry. Your body needs time to move everything down in the morning- or whenever. Senekot IS a laxative, although better than ducolax. In post partum floors they use pericolace. A mild laxative and colace mixed together. They give it to mother's who breastfeed also. If you want a suppository, get glycerin suppositories. Not a laxative, but helps you go. You can also use a fleets enema.

Did your doctor tell you to take dulcolax? You should only use natural methods like fiber for constipation. Stimulant medications will pass through the placenta to the baby. Call your doctor and make sure you are taking a safe medication and if not, stop immediately!

Yes it can harm the baby, your doctor should be able to tell you the specifics, but your best bet for constipation is to try anything hight in Fiber or high in Bran... for instance bran muffins home made..or store bought..they are a good and healthy snack. The only over the counter med that is okay to take while pregnant is Tylenol, not motrin or excedrin but tylenol..like I said ask your doc and they will advise you. Good luck.. and what ever you do dont push because while pregnant you could very well get hemroids..I know it sounds bad, but they are very common while pregnant.

Try eating some prunes instead or drink the juice. Laxatives are not safe during pregnancy. I think that is listed on the caution label. Call your doctor, I was prescribed something during my pregnancy, but its been 8 years and can't remember what its called. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

I had to take senacot, it is all natural and it is a stool softener. I also took a fiber powder and mixed it in my coffee. Between the two, it took care of the problem and everything turned out okay. I hope this info works. Good luck!

You are to keep away from medications as much as possible. Even vitamins are very well limited.
