there's four books- confessions of a shopaholic, shopaholic takes manhattan, shopaholic gets married, shopaholic and sister. they are very funny books about a young british woman who works in finance to help others manage their financial situation, yet she is a crazy spender. she of course doesn't realize this, thinking that all the things she buys are "investments" for the future, and are all needed. the books show all her misfortunes, etc and how she is so far in debt and tries to hide it from everyone, and writes hilarious letters to the bank, and credit card companies asking for more money. each book has a major event ex. getting married (plans two weddings), meets her sister, moves to new york, etc. it's a funny series..you should read it :)

They're pretty funny books about a young british woman who can't stop spending, and the trouble she gets into each time she thinks she can control her spending. A very easy, quick and entertaining read.

they are girly kinda books, about a woman named Rachel and it follows her through her life being a shop-a-holic, and finds crafty and sometimes entertaining ways to get herself out of debt. have the series and they are a good read on a rainy day...
