I know Information Technology is offered through online classes and Computer Science degrees are offered through a traditional college learning setting. I was wondering if there is a difference as far as curriculum.

Usually no. Computer Science involves a lot of programming (different languages such as C/C++, VB.NET, etc.), study of operating systems, compilers, networks, etc.

Information Technology, or IT for short, usually involves more of the business aspect of technology. IT Managers manage Programmers (CS people).

the Curriculum changes often...but don't do notting on line, U wont learn what U need to no for a good job...take classes in a college setting, because U will have to network very hard to get a job later an.....and the CO will come to the campus to hire you...
mostly if U choose and IT degree they will stick U with a tech call center job...so do it right the first time....
