Color coding alerts are imposed depending upon the terror situation and not about elections.

they have not gone anywhere. we still have them and will have for a long time. they are actually a simple method of calling attention to the status of alerts. many hospitals have a color-coke system.. i know the VA hospitals do as i see them when i am there.

They've never left. It's just that the news media doesn't see ratings in reporting them, at the moment. I'm not sure that reporting them is really significant. Do you change your actions based on the color of the day?
