I think it is likely, but don't have any data. And I've found that making decisions without data should be avoided whenever possible. (That type of behavior leads to big mistakes like invading another country to remove WMD that don't really exist.)
According to this article in the LA Times, the government doesn't have any data either. http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/front/la-fg-spin10sep10,1,2143488.story?coll=la-headlines-frontpage
From the article:
"Government agencies here rarely keep reliable statistics. Fear and partisan agendas sway Iraqi officials, making them reluctant to divulge what little data they collect. The U.S. military's fondness for secrecy tends to clash with the brass' demands for 'metrics' to quantify any progress."
BTW, try using better grammar in your questions. Not only will you get better answers, but you may get a little respect too. Lots of people won't answer questions with grammar like yours. When you use good grammar, you show respect to the people who might answer your question.

RJ - if there's lots of documentation, why don't you go ahead and list some? 'Cause otherwise, I think you're making it up.

I think a lot of us who live in the western world don't understand international wars. Just like there are career firemen, career criminals and career lawyers; there are also career soldiers. Most of these 'insurgents' will fight in different places from time to time as they feel they are needed. Their whole life is centered around war so as the conflict moves around so do they, so if its not in Iraq, it would be in Afghanistan, thats just how they are. Well until they are retired by a cruise missile or some other means. There are a number of conflicts anywhere in the world at any given time. Things have really cooled in Kosovo region, but there's stuff in Africa and other places in Asia and stuff where they fight rebels. You could basically sign up as an international war expert and get trained and tour from war to war, but thats not an ideal life. So these guys flocking from place to place, they are all the same, same camps, same leaders, same beliefs. In America we don't understand this, well most of us don't, thats why the war in Iraq doesn't make a lot of sense to most. In general in America we will live our lives oblivious to the conflict that goes outside our shores. That's good, because that lets the civilians live in a stress free world, while the heroes go off and fight our battles for us.

No the terrorists are not flocking to Iraq. The terrorists are a whole lot smarter than to go where they can be destroyed by the millitary. Although our military is being used as a pawn for the greatest terrorist of them all George W. Bush.

Not all but yes, there's PLENTY of DOCUMENTED agitators from Syria and Iran fanning the flames of hatred between Shia and Sunni's in Iraq. They also supply weapons from exposives used in IED traps as well as rockets.
There's a LOT at stake right now, especially for corrupt monarchs, tyrants and mullahs with a huge fortune in future OIL revenues to monopolize from the rightful owners- the citizens of those countries.

Terrorists are widespread in countries tolerating their activities. They are not in fact flocking to Iraq but creating cells in different countries.

Insurgents my @$$, it's the iraqi's peed off that we destroyed their infrastructure and left their country without a security force allowing for a drastic rise in violence. The whole insurgent thing is propaganda, those people hate each other almost as much as they hate us and will take any and every opportunity to kill rival sects.

No, many may have, but they still work within us. Their work is in places other than the desert.
