Somebody's injured, right? He wont be the full time starting quarterback, will he? Why is he even on the team? What was Al(The Genious) Davis thinking to sign this washed up, no talent quarterback? The good side is that I can keep laughing at all the idiotic Raider fans who "proudly" show there support for their team for another season or five.

Al Davis "settled" for Aaron Brooks. People like to talk about his great stats, but how many Super Bowls did Dan Marino win with all of his great stats. Brooks only went to two playoff appearances(both in same year) and that was 6 years ago. He has no heart and was always smiling when he threw an interception. What kind of a person complains about living in numerous hotel rooms after the hurricane when thousands had no where to live.

I'm not a big fan of Brooks, but I think he compliments the Raiders more than Collins did. He's has more speed and agility and can move the ball along instead of throwing it away, or forcing a pass. I think he's got a bright future in Oakland.

From what i've seen of Brooks so far it's no wonder that New Orleans dumped him, this guy is definitely at or very near the bottom as an NFL qb. I don't think Kenny Stabler or Jim Plunkett could save this bunch though.

Sad, but true. I find it hard to believe that they release Kerry Collins to sign Aaron Brooks....
